Amarone Classico - Novaia Corte Vaona 2017

94 Points, Decanter: “Novaia is a long-established estate located at the highest point of the valley at Marano, where its 7ha of organic vineyards spread along terraces supported by the traditional 'marogne' dry-stone walls of the Valpolicella. The Corte Vaona Amarone is a super-selection from a plot of 1.5ha. It has a nose of great complexity in which dark floral aromas mingle with tar and woodland undergrowth, and a dense, dry palate with a firm and peppery finish." (June 2022)
