91 pts, Georgina Hindle, Decanter. "A ferrous nose with striking aromas of iron, strawberries and cherries. Clean and clear, this has an immediate brightness from the acidity which then settles with a chalky, iron grip towards the finish. Lots of sticky liquorice and cedar spice which will settle in time. Stops a little short but not too rich or intense, a lightly framed Pomerol. This has mellowed a lot from Primeurs and is now softer and more approachable."
