Shiraz - Penfolds Grange 2012

Dense, dark red colour. The unmistakable Grange essence bursts forth on the nose—exuberant, lifted, and flamboyant. Aromatic 'multi-cultural' layers unfold, from formics and balsamics to tiramisu and roasted hazelnut. The palate is fresh, refined, with red liquorice, gravy reduction, and black olive tapenade. Structurally complete, with dusty tannins and a dark pool of savoury delights.
